Jasper Mayone

Jasper Mayone (he/they) is Mad River Mentoring’s website and IT person. They grew up in Fayston and founded Single Feather, a small Vermont tech company that builds websites and handles IT for local businesses and nonprofits. That covers a lot of ground, from Google Workspace and email to network installs and keeping servers running.

For MRM, Jasper designed and built this website and the database behind it. It’s where matches get made, mentors log their sessions, staff record check-ins, and grant reports come together without anyone copying numbers by hand. Protecting mentor and family information is a big part of that work, so sensitive documents stay encrypted and access is tightly limited.

Outside of Single Feather, Jasper studies computer science at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston and works in campus IT. They also run Patchwork Labs, a nonprofit focused on human creativity in the age of AI. Off the clock, you’ll find them reading, cooking, taking photos, or catching a live show.
