he/they — WEBSITE DESIGN / IT
Jasper Mayone (he/they) is a 19-year-old computer science student from rural Vermont, now based in Boston and studying at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Outside of school and work, they enjoy reading, the outdoors, photography, programming, cooking, and circus arts. An avid organizer and big-picture thinker, Jasper is constantly dreaming up projects, from small apps to ambitious business ideas, and has taken on leadership roles in a variety of local and international initiatives. They currently focus much of their time on Patchwork Labs, a nonprofit they founded to support creativity and the next generation of makers. Jasper is also committed to a safer internet, contributing to open source web security and privacy projects, including serving as lead maintainer of phish.directory, a free phishing directory. Their past experiences include a Summer 2025 engineering internship at MLH, filming and managing production during a month-long documentary trip to Rwanda, helping run the Waitsfield Elementary PTA Ski & Skate sale, co-coordinating large-scale “See Change Sessions” climate conferences, and catching live shows by AJR, Sammy Rae & the Friends, and Lake Street Dive.
